If the target isnt looking at me, its perfectly fine. The Rear/Flank 'dancing' nature of the Monk is what drew me to it, and in party play its awesome fun. In Solo play, its like pulling teeth with pliers. Take your Black Mage and do ONLY Blizzard II to kill things. Thats what its like.
Running around like a headless retarded chicken hoping to hell my lag gets me a flank hit is not what i consider fun gameplay.
An option to allow me to do full DPS while solo (Something NO other Job struggles with as hard as Monks do) doesn't affect you in the slightest. Keep on spazzing out in circles if thats what floats your boat.
Abuse stun for the positionals. It'll give you enough time for 2 before the enemy looks at you directly again the first time you stun.If the target isnt looking at me, its perfectly fine.
