New updates for HEAVENSWARD. I put a note at the beginning of the guide and will eventually get around to updating everything else.

Interrupt macros now work properly on all cool down skills again.

Faerie range and auto-heal range are still wrong.

Selene's speed buffs have been replaced with new skills:
- Fey Caress: sounds like a an area Leeches/Esuna. Have not had a chance to test it.
- Fey Wind: a 3% buff to "attack speed." I tested this and it affects healing as well as attack spells. Presumably, it affects weapon skills as well. For me, it reduced GCD time from 2.44 seconds to 2.37 seconds. That is pretty modest compared to what we used to have, so you can call it a nerf.

Really wish SE would change Obey to include Embrace so she doesn't auto-cast and change Steady to Obey's current function.
I can not count the number of times Eos has disobeyed me or just ignored my commands (even when I tried to queue things) because she started casting Embrace or is on cooldown from having cast Embrace on someone that didn't need to be healed right that moment.
I don't know why, but she often doesn't queue things for me.

With regular commands for cooldowns, the game only queues cooldowns if the faerie cast Embrace of her own initiative. She will not queue if you had manually commanded her to Embrace. Do you use any manual commands for Embrace?

Use the right macro and you won't have to pay attention.
You can use either the interrupt macro or queue macro from the guide. Interrupt macros had issues in 2.5 which are fixed now, but I haven't updated the whole guide yet.

As of Patch 2.5, this Interrupt macro is only viable for Whispering Dawn. One of the changes made is that canceling Embrace or Whispering Dawn will reset the cooldown timer so it is ready for immediate casting. Utilizing the same macro approach with Fey Illumination or Covenant when auto-casting conditions are met will result in her canceling Embrace, re-casting Embrace automatically, and then executing the cooldown afterwards. This is counter productive and not recommended.

Finally got around to testing the macro today (didn't need it till now). Unfortunately, it didn't seem to work for me. Using the macro on Whispering Dawn, Eos would cancel Auto (not command) Embrace, just to try to cast Embrace again. She didn't even try to queue Whispering Dawn after I finally let her Auto Cast Embrace.

Edit> Did a bit of out-of-battle testing. Commanded Eos to Embrace, then sent the macro command, and Eos obeyed properly, so I don't know what could have made Eos decide to keep trying to auto-!cast Embrace before. (also, her disobeying my macro in an infinte loop happened thrice at different times in the first battle I tried it out in)

The macros are great, thanks for sharing the research you've done.

I use the Embrace+Spell macros for a long while, since finding this I've added the interrupt macros to get better responsiveness from Eos/Selene which has worked out very well.

I'm still tossing between using Bio <t> or Bio <tt> because I generally target a tank and they generally switch targets frequently (well... the more vetted ones do), so it gets tough when I want to use Bane. On the otherhand, I have to switch to targetting an enemy which has its downsides.
Doesn't help that Eos will self-heal if I'm targetting the wrong enemy/player, lol.

So, been continuing to use the "perfect interrupt" macro. While (for me, at the very least) it doesn't cancel her auto-embrace, it will cancel her command-embrace and properly queue the spell after an auto-embrace.

heya giant

lately ill try getting used to SCH after playing SMN as main for a long time now... while reading threads and guides i noticed that u r deep into SCH and faerie management. im playing on a ps4 too so i know the problem with hotbar / skill handling or macros in generell.

i think i saw a macro post somewhere on the frontpage of the healer section that allows you to change single shortcut spots via a macro... i know you can change whole hotbars via macrolines at the end of skills/spells but that's not what im looking for.

im looking for a macro which i can implement into the two summon-skills to individualize my main hotbar - f.e. if i summon Eos i want 2 of her skills on my frontbar, if i summon Selene i want her skills on those spots... i think ill remember a macro you posted about this but i cant find it anymore... could someone help me out?
