Chocobo Companions didn't get updated to Lv30?

I would hate raising another companion. Its literally the worst aspect of this game. I am scared to death that we will have to raise another minion. If they ever do add more training I hope they make exp requirements less or let companions earn fate or leve credit. Having the bulk of exp come from weekly challenge logs just extends leveling too much.

They said they would add ranks for chocobos, but didn't specify racing or companion in one of the 500 previews.

It was stated we would see another 10 levels added to the companion cap, I don't see it in the official patch notes posted but it was stated in previous info. I've been wondering myself how we go about leveling but I see nothing as of yet, possibly a later update? I got a Tavnairian onion from a quest in Ishgard today but I don't want to use it until we see something about the supposed level cap increase. Guess I'll just work on the storyline and hope it pops in somewhere. :/

theres alot of stuff they're holding back on until launch day, they said that so people dont get too far ahead
