Suggestion - being able to repair gear while still equipped

To me it may not make COMPLETE sense in some scenarios as to how a crafter would repair the very armor on your body, but all in all it would be nice to let a crafter repair your gear while still equipped .

Especially in the case of repairing a weapon it would never be repairable unless you had another primary to equip or you used the repair npc (who is an overpricing con artist ).

I don't see many problems with the idea and it improves convenience. Although, if there is a fatal flaw to this idea I'm missing feel free to correct me .

This is a forum after all, and in forums we discuss (though sometimes not in this forum ).

    Thanks for reading

Copy/pasting my reply to another, identical thread over in the Items, etc. forum (I almost accused you of re-posting, honestly):

when you decide to accuse people of re-posting then you assume they have limitless knowledge about every post ever made on these forums, which i dont =/.

I'm not reposting, at least on purpose, I'm just trying to put out ideas when I have them. For the devs to see that multiple people think of bringing up the issue doesn't hinder the matter it actually augments the concern and attention for it.

I'm only mini ranting about this because the search feature on the forums isnt super great so I cant easily find this topic I'm posting if I tried and if I post a topic that is seemingly identical I'd like people to instead discuss with me and perhaps see what I'm saying could be a bit different =/.

Just saying "REPOST" or "DOUBLEPOST" and leaving the matter there can be very counterproductive especially when the referred to original post doesn't even exist anywhere in the first 1-4 pages of the general discussion forums =(.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I only get really annoyed with reposts when they're in the same forum as the original, and especially if the original one is still on the first page. I'm fully capable of realizing that this one was a coincidence.

At any rate, like I said in my other post, I'd be more likely to agree with just letting us put them up for repair straight from the Gear screen. Unless the devs just decided to go all-out with the convenience, which I'd also be fine with, I guess.

I agree 100%, it's just hard to get their attention lately since they're so busy. I've only ever had 1 thread of mine with a developer responding on it, but perhaps it's only because my other threads aren't relevant enough =(.

At any rate I'd hope at least a topic like this could get a response since it shouldnt prove too much hassle. One can only hope =)
