    Bard Burst in Heavensward

    Has any other bard looked at the new skills and combined them with the change made to barrage? excluding self buffs, Empryeal Arrow has a potential 720 POT when used with barrage.
    also, if Iron Jaws works how i(and a few others) think, then it will be possible to keep buffed dots on something for a very long duration.
    its looking like Wanderers is the way to go play bard for real now.
    coming up with an opener for this is going to be interesting.
    also, changes to mages and Paeons is pretty nice. only lowers dmg by 15% now.

    I haven't seen the update to Barrage but I know there were concerns about the fact that Wanderer's Minuet disabled auto-attacks, upon which Barrage is(was?) based. Has it been changed in such a way as to be compatible with Minuet?

    How i see it, if barrage is combined with sidewinder that is a huge huge burst dps. If barrage works like we think it does thats a potential 350 potency x 3 (so like 1050?) + buffs + wanderer's. Im thinking rotation could look like this

    Precast Wanderer's and all buffs (straight shot included), DoT > OGCD > Dot > OGCD > Empyreal Arrow > Barrage > Sidewinder > Heavy shot spam with OGCD like bloodletter/Blunt Arrow / Repelling shot > If dots are about to fall off or if you want to clip buffs, Iron Jaw > Back to heavy shot.

    this is pure speculation o3ob

    first, gotta stop you, side winder is an ability, not a weapon skill.
    second, it may be a good idea to do straight shot and dots with wanderers down at least as an opener, but cant say for sure.

    I got minuet and ran the whole first dungeon while its up.

    The cast time isn't bad. It's faster than spells.

    Cast finish before while gcd is still on cool down and not complete. You have a small window to blood letter or misery or buff.

    I love the new rain of death

    So far I'm happy.

    for some crazy reason, dervy and many others kept perpetuating the idea that the cast time for all weapon skills while under WM was going to be 3 seconds(same cast time as the song itself).
    focusing on your comment tho, was the run any faster that you noticed, or same as before?
