For those who were thinking of going Au Ra data mining has brought the base stats:
AU RA Starting Racial Stats:

Xaela: 23 str. 20 Dex. 21 Vit. 20 Int. 17 Mnd. 19 Pie.
Raen: 17 Str. 21 Dex. 18 Vit. Int 20. Mnd 22. Pie 22.

So Raen is the best choice because +3 Int points.

Before anyone just accepts that as a fact:
You haven't seemed to notice that both Au Ra types have 20 Int, making none of both a better choice for BLM/SMN.
You could argue with the other stats and say Raen have higher Mnd for those emergency heals, but on the other hand, Xaela have higher Vit, raising their chances at survival - especially if yet another ability (Manawall) is now % of HP-based.

I dare say if you want 3 more Pie or 3 more Vit will depend highly on the content and player's preference.
We had fights before where BLMs barely reached the minimum of HP required to even do the fight, so...

Anyway, I just wanted to clear up the misunderstanding that Raen are better because of 3 more Int, because they don't have more Int.
