Listen this is not new. This service has been around for a good long while. If you are that upset about it you should have done something about it way back when. Cause I do not think it is going away even with trying to scare us or guilt tripping us.

its nothing to do with pay2win its just more storage and if u say its cause of retainer ventures then u gotta factor in how long it will take u to get 192 ventures per day and i doubt anyone would want to farm for that long.
if people are willing to spend money for more storage space they can which shouldnt be upto u to decide if they can buy it or not all because u dont like it.

You make more Gil by using your head, planning and research. I can make 1-2 million gil very easily a *week* by using my brains and reading the markets and knowing what is actually selling with just 1 - 2 retainers selling things. It's quality, not quantity. Just 4 of the items I sell *daily* go for 30-50k gil total *daily* (depending on the daily fluctuation of the market) and that's just my 4 set items that takes about and hour to farm just those 4 items, daily. This doesn't even include the rest of the time I need to spend on gathering and crafting. You get out what you put into it. If you think you can instantaneously just unload stuff in mass quantities onto the MB and that those items will actually sell instead of sitting there for weeks...

It is not a numbers (of retainers) game. Ventures bring back a *lot* of crap and for the most part, aren't really worth the time to farm. Heck I don't even send out ventures unless I need some shards to craft with lol

Why would having more inventory be an advantage in any way shape or form? How is collecting unique/untradable/binding items going to really give you an advantage over anyone?

I bought extra retainers, realized I didn't even need that much room, and the extra ventures weren't worth it imo. If you're selling 6 retainers worth on MB you're doing it wrong. I don't feel inferior to anyone who will have 6 total retainers, neither should anyone else.

In the 40 minutes that my retainer farms 30 white button mushrooms, the level 20 or whatever item you need oodles of for buttons in a blanket, I could farm 300. I mostly send her on the ventures to get them because it gives her something to do.
