Honestly, I wonder if it's Nanamo she's trying to revive. I think it is, otherwise Raubahn wouldn't seem to calm to see Lolorito, but it could be anyone. Heck I've even seen some people suggesting that KES talking about the WoL and KES is trying restore our connection to Hydaelyn (Which seems like a horrid idea to me imho)
lol, oh I got a decent chuckle out of that one. I can picture that in my head.
Adaledji: Take his wepons!!
<System Error>
Wtf? I said take them you fools!!!
<System Error>
The hell? Then give him thia frying pan and THEN take his weapons!
<Changes to Culinarian>
What in the name of Thal is going on! Why is he in his small cloaths!!!
Pfft, have you gone through the Hildibrand questline?! CUL is OP silly! Now maybe if they made us change to Alchemist.. I think we might be screwed then!
But not all us Culinarians are as God Like as Mama Manderville. And she seems to be skilled in Alchemy too.
Proves that Mama Manderville knows how to Bring the Pain and Take it Away.
I found the fact we didn't just teleport away to escape odder. I mean, being able to attune to aetheryte is a large plot point in the game. You would think all the scions would've just *blipped* out of Ul'dah as soon as they were "out of combat". There's no in-game lore explanation for not being able to teleport or for aetheryte being "shut-off" that I recall. Even if they could shut-off Ul'dah's somehow, the scions wouldn't be porting to that one anyway.
Not fighting people that arrest you is relatively understandable, but watching someone die as an all-powerful healer makes us look evil or daft as well.

I just replied to a thread like this on reddit.
I'll just quote those for this one.
Especially since shit really hit the fan when Raubahn killed the one we thought was behind everything, Teledji.
We couldn't rightly just go after Lolorito afterwards, just because he looks devious.
We got blindsided, and Ul'dah is too corrupt. Slaughtering all the guards and trying to purge the top wouldn't really be the right answer.
Also we've got more people on our side after that event, precisely because we didn't bathe Ul'dah in its own blood.
We actually aren't nearly as strong after losing the blessing of light. Yoshida even gave that as a reason why the mobs in Heavensward are harder to kill (though it was a bit of a joke). Storywise though, we're not what we were when we killed any of the primals.
Still, we might've taken them, but I think it's implied it wasn't a "couple" of them. The city was full of them (this was stated), they were just a lot more on the way that were catching up to us.
Regardless, even if we could beat them. Then what? We take the city? We kill all the evil lalafells and give Ul'dah back to the poor? The city where even the poor have their own hierarchy and power struggles. It's really not that simple.
Running the city red until no one is left that doubts us wasn't the answer.
And there would probably be casualties if we started a personal war on Ul'dah governance.
