It's true SMN is looking more and more attractive, especially if Enochian is kinda fight specific somewhat, but I think I'm gonna stick to my guns for now.

What upsets me most about the flare nerf is that when you look at it, it appears the nerfs only purpose was to make it so flare and holy are less effective when doing speed runs of content.... If that's the intent there are ways to discourage that type of play without nerfing a skill that frankly I thought was balanced fine.
It will be interesting to see if this change plus the other changes to secondary stats and such impacts the optimal AOE damage rotation.
I mean, it's not just Enochian. Everybody should be able to agree the reason the changed Selene this way is because it would have been too good for everybody with DoTs. This nerf was to balance them and BLM takes the big hit for no reason. Fortunately, I know how to play Summoner and this job looks a lot more fun to play than BLM right now.
Leylines forces you to stay where you are also and if you get unlucky, you'll lose your Enochian early compared to Summoner that switch stance each 30 seconds accurately.

3% haste will scale really well with other haste effects, at least! Leylines included! :3
Also, AST haasa card that increases attackspeed by 25% so...... I don't think you'll be hurting if you run SCH/AST because that is really strong. (I'd put it on a melee though, since haste scales with haste really well, lol. Especially monk being able to restore 300 TP now)
If the wording of the picture is correct, it's not as big of a nerf as everyone is making it out to be. First glance sounded like 6+ mobs means 50% damage to all of them, but the wording says if you are using it on 6+ mobs you will do 100% to one, 90% to one, 80% to one, 70% to one, 60% to one, 50% to rest. At 6 mobs that's a 25% damage drop vs a 50% damage drop.
I could see it as a huge nerf to the BLMs that don't use Fire II for AoE, but they are already doing mediocre damage to begin with. Flare is less than half my AoE damage, so less than 25% off that still means dungeons finished 5 minutes faster with 1 BLM than a party with 2 melee. The bigger hit is to Holy.
