Still no word on Au Ra Naming Conventions?

People are upset that the servers are going down tomorrow/tonight and we don't have the thing we were promised. We certainly have every right to be upset.

So the reason why they haven't posted naming conventions is because that the to clans actually have physical differences that distinguish them apart ( not just scales color ).
Changes at the last second or features that they didn't manage to get in before the benchmarks tease a few weeks back.
Either way they somehow relate to the lore / naming conventions of the Au Ra which necessitated the wait to release the naming conventions to prevent spoilers!

So unfortunately, most likely we won't see any until after Heavensward has been released.

I would like to know that as well. I don't buy the spoiler bit, but if it really is because they're tweaking the race appearance slightly (however unlikely that seems at this point) then that'll help forgive quite a bit for me.

Actually if we are solely basing it off how Yugiri was named, then Heavensgazer would be correct, since she is called Yugiri Mistwalker in a story battle instance

If the argument is about how "Astrologer" is more Doman then actually using a Japanese divining practice should be the proper thing. Astrologer and Astrologian are just variants on the same word not different concepts Astrologian just fell out of favor its not a different concept. It like saying "My character is a Fighter not a Warrior"

At this point I just hope that when the servers go down they give it to us for EA. Or a free name change. People like me who made a character to change due to server limitations would just be stuck waiting (which is irritating) but for anyone making an Au Ra new during EA, they would have to guess at a name and then pay to change it later which does not seem right at all. I hadn't heard/read anything about them delaying it due to issues with the Au Ra not being finalized appearance wise. If that is the case they really should have said so.
