New gears for higher level Gathers?

Hi!

With all the new armor and weapons coming out for DoW/DoM classes, I was wondering if we could get some new higher level gear for Gatherers?

Currently as a R50 Botanist I am stuck wearing the R27 Fishing Hat and the R27 Canvas Work Gloves. I'm sure this goes for R50 Fishers and Miners as well. Where are the Velveteen Work Gloves and Linen Work Gloves recipes? Not sure what you would call the higher ranked Fishing Hats but where are the recipes for that?

I know this is low on the priority list compared to everything else that needs to be fixed and implemented. I just want to know if there is a chance we'll be getting some gear upgrades for classes other than DoW/DoM.

I agree! And I don't feel it should be low priority either. The inability of an entire group of classes to function correctly due to underleveled gear is not a minor issue.

Not to sound uncaring as a rank 43 botanist The lack of ultra high level hands and hat don't really bother me...

Forgot to mention: For what its worth, OP, I asked this question during the harvester Q/A and they said they were definitely planning to address this. It's just a matter of when.

They're adding some new fishing hats in 1.19. Reinheart's translations of it is here.

Thanks for the link, that flower hat is so cute! Now if only my gatherer wasn't decked out neck to toe in leather, it would look really cute on her. Call me crazy, but those leather armguards just don't seem to go with a flowery straw hat very well.

I'd love to see more useful gathering gear and in greater variety. There is actually a lot of stuff that is technically rank and class appropriate, but that has minimal or no gathering stats. Like various jackboots and canvas/linen/velveteen bottoms.

Well we did get some company gear in the form of the Lominsan Doublet Vest and Gridanian Doublet, the latter of which has the best Output stat in the game.

However, I am indeed still wearing my mid-level straw hat. (Hands less of an issue for a miner due to spiked leather armguards.)

Oooh thanks for the info Cid. Those hats look good, now if they could just put them in game as fast as they do battle class gear I would be a happy camper. We still need updated gloves though!
