Look at this picture.
His Gladiator is at 60, yet he still has experience gained.
(obviously a joke topic; most likely just an error on SE's part)

That crafting gear set is sweet

Totally off topic (and not a big deal), but I think it's dumb they listed the new jobs as "Extra Jobs," instead of just putting them with the others in Disciples of War and Magic.
Player : フェアリーのミラプリも作ってるんですか?
(Any plan on Fairies glamour?)
Yoshi'p Sampo: フェアリーはエギではないので、予定がないです。残念ながら。
(Since Fairies aren't Egi so, No.)

Probably to avoid confusing newbies when they're leveling their classes and can't find where those three jobs are. "Extra jobs" implies you get them later, which is exactly the case. I agree it's a little weird from an organization standpoint though.
Don't be surprised if this is an elaborate way to restrict old gear from being worn by the new jobs. Up until now we've assumed that the new jobs can wear old gear. There is even heavy talk of the Machinist being able to wear the High Allagan Coat of Aiming from clips from the Benchmark, and everyone is going along with that. But it's quite possible the Benchmark allowed gear possibilities that will not actually be possible on launch. It's also possible that there is some new item, such as "High Allagan Coat of Sniping" that will be specifically for the Machinist alone.
Maybe you think it's dumb, but maybe it's a way of dealing with gear restriction without interfering too much with non-expansion clients.
Or maybe they will eventually go into the DoW/DoM sections like you want anyway...
It's probably a UI bug.
or aliens.
It's more to differentiate between 'Classes' and 'Jobs'. Since the three new jobs have no base classes, they're not classified as a 'discipline' unlike the other classes. That's most likely why they're under their own heading.

In FFXI, Blue Mage, Dragoon, Corsair, etc were Extra Jobs because without the expansion, they are impossible to unlock. They probably could have listed them under DoW/DoM but put an asterisk there or something instead, but alas.
