Cannont Access game client on PS4 with purchase new Heavensward Bundle!

It says right on the site that people buying that particular bundle will have no access until the 23rd.
Besides, nobody can play HW yet so why was your friend thinking he/she could already?

Any issues getting into PSN and such? A lot of chatter about people having login issues or access to content the last several days. Might be a PSN specific problem?

Otherwise there could be something odd with the registration...did he get two separate codes (one for ARR, one for HW), or was it one code for everything?

No it's not a log on issue, he is online PSN and all.
Since it was PSN the registration codes go through the linked account once you connect PSN to SEN.

It doesn't say no access it says "will be available", and it also doesn't say anything about pre-load available, and yet the game is fully downloaded and ready to go. (minus the whole issue with no log-in screen).
It was expected that he'd have access to the full version of the non-expansion game (like every free game trial player) until the expansion hit.
