Hair is a darker shade of red / dark blue eye shadow instead of red compared to my first attempt. Also added the scales on the cheeks.

So I went back and did some more modifications deciding with going with Xaela this time:

They're both awesome, but I'm a sucker for the fluffy hair on your Raen. The face-paint/eye make up stands out more on him too

I probably will. Was just more playing around with the Xaela as an option and wanting to see what people thought. I do like the darker scales, but not the gray around the eyes. It is hard to beat the Raen I first came up with. One minor change I would just do to him though is go with Chin 4 instead of 1, but that is just a minor change. It is those subtle things that really make a look for me and why I tend to spend hours just playing with a character creator. I mean I went through 2 fantasia's on my current Miqo'te's look and I'm still not satisfied. What bums me is that the Raen pulls off that hair cut so much better then my Miqo'te.

Yeah that hair is great on him. I tried it on the Xaela. It didn't feel right.

Okay, I'm kinda torn between those two now, my Xaela one was posted a long time ago and I tried myself on a Raen.
