Does not matter one bit. You wasted that persons queue. That is just as annoying as losing a drop. Some queues, especially dps ones can take forever. Once again, your choice, your gamble. Also, the troll abuse that would come from your solution, especially in 24 man content... well, the skys the limit.

You could say the same thing for queuing in progress. It's a gamble. You may very well end up joining in right after the loot crate with the loot you want in it is opened. Then your queue was still wasted. When you queue, you queue for an instance. You don't get an option to queue in-progress for one specific point in a duty. So by queuing in progress you are saying "I want to get into the dungeon, and know I may get in after the boss I actually need." You can fault one person for taking that gamble more than you can fault 23 people wanting to see if anyone is willing to join in progress, knowing they are gambling by doing so.

Also, troll solution is already in the game: 15 seconds to get inside. If you're keeping up with the group, you cannot be locked out by a troll.

You keep saying that, what if the person comes in after the pull and notice was made? Then what? There's not a 100% chance of that not being done or someone just having a pure awful PC that loads slow. Of course these are situations made convenient to this situation but to strike the point that if it did happen like this by chance then the unlucky would still be punished for the impatient.
