The single biggest issue holding back FFXIV needs to be specifically addressed.

and i was wondering if there is anyone who reads this post in japan or not if they have the capability of re-creating the test from the OP and get multiple examples like that one it may just drive the point home to SE. i would totally do it but unfortunately i only have one PC that can actually RUN the game lol

As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure there was a thread about this in the JP forums a while back, and someone had even made a video almost exactly like OP's (but with a lalafell ).

I don't remember if a rep ever posted in it, but either way I think this issue is important enough that it should be brought up again. Poor servers will make any future game content suffer, and for such a big problem the developers are way too quiet about it. :/

Being this quiet about a huge issue like this makes it feel like maybe they dont even know what to do to fix it, much less plans to or have resources to fix it.

this isn't a location bassed as most ppl have been saying, i'm not in japan but i'm pretty dam close and latency is the same as it was when i was in the uk 8k miles form where i live now. this is a client->server->client issue, latency will play a part in this but as we don't live in the year 1990 it's so minimal.
