Star Ocean games are interesting but I miss the days when games actually have Sequels rather than Pre-Sequels.

Don't get me wrong it is nice we get to see a section of the Time Line for SO but so many back tracking in the timeline makes it lose a little flare it once had in the storyline.

Hmm so all the games are related some how like the same universe/world? So I shouldn't get lost when I get this. I vaguely remember the plot but I know the two human characters are like saviors of the universe and I loved that cat person. She had combos out the ass. I usually hate feline type of characters but I liked her.

Yes they are all in the same Universe but the Time Line in the games tend to jump around ever since SO3. SO5 (Space Date 537) is revealed to be set between SO2( Space Date 366) and SO3(Space Date 772) in the SO Time Line.

SO4 is set Space Date 10 which is 336 years before SO1 (Space Date 346)

Timeline of SO series so far is...

SO4 (Space Date 10) -> SO1 (Space Date 346) -> SO2 (Space Date 366) -> SO5 (Space Date 537) -> SO3 (Space Date 772)

You would be thinking of Meracle, (I'm assuming) who's name is even part of the last name of my character. She was a bit out there, but aside from having a friendly personality, her combat style and combos was the biggest reason I kept her on front lines.

As for the thread itself, likewise, please don't tease my heart like that. I love the hell out of Chrono Trigger.
Here's to hopping that we get some more news on Star Ocean 5 and what not at this E3. Maybe a release date for FFXV finally. :O

From what I read on the comments, they used the same music (which is bloody annoying, horrible remix) for 2014's teaser, so nothing new.

Keep in mind of what they did to Lufia 2 (the abomination known as Curse of the Sinistrals). I'll remain carefully optimistic.

Honestly, if it is Chrono Trigger related, I will spend money on it. I can't help it. ._.
