    Squatting / crouching is far more comfortable for an adult than the "W" position. Only children can really bend like that, lol, and it's not healthy to do anyway. Squatting takes some balance, but otherwise isn't uncomfortable, and crouching is extremely practical; both also have the body language of an active, responsive person. The "W" is designed to make them look as childish (moé) as possible... which really, really irritates people who want to play a mature Auri woman.

    I've no clue what everyone is going on with "W" position being uncomfortable. I'm six foot and it feels perfectly natural to sit like that for 10 minutes or so. Crouching on the other hand gets painful after five.

    Well, as long as we're refuring to sitting positions IRL, I've actually managed to learn how to sit in the Japenese Saiza position for upwards of half an hour with out having to move.

    I know Japenese people can sit that way for longer but I say 30-45 minutes is an accomplishment for an American.

    Whelp, it's not exactly W position.. But I'm not sure how that even is possible

    Correction, that's still the W position, and it's quite possible, it just looks uncomfortable as ever http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KlkVM_b7Of...0/46728956.jpg

    I actually decided to do some research on the "W" sitting position. And, I didn't find any 100% source that states that it's unquestionably bad for your children/you. It can be bad. But anything can be bad. Now I can't comfortably sit in the "W" position: I am not flexible (and very fat), but I went and asked my sister who is a Cheerleader and she sat in the position just fine. She only said it was uncomfortable when she was getting up. I even found quite a few more japanese models who were using the "w" sit too.

    I wouldn't use "it looks uncomfortable" as a reason against it though. Because to me even knowing I find it uncomfortable the position doesn't look uncomfortable to me at all.

    For example;

    This look uncomfortable as all hell (and bothers me on a very deep and personal level).

    Perhaps Au Ra are really flexible?

    Yeah... its a pretty silly way for siting. Fortunately they should have another sitting pose.

    Well... /sigh.

    It is possible to sit in that position, even if you're an adult, but unless you're really flexible it's uncomfortable as all hell (I tried again and managed it, sort of). Adult knees aren't designed to bend that way. Even if you can sit that way, it serves no practical purpose. Compare the time it takes to get up and respond from the W to a squat / crouching position.

    ... so again, it goes back to having Auri women be as moé moé as possible for it's own sake, which is something I vehemently disagree with. Not the straw that breaks the camel's back, but I'm quite glad I have a male design on backup.
