Unfair Modding. User perma banned for calling SE incompetent.

Song Joohee got perma banned without being his third strike only because he called incompetent SE for messing up the preorders on EU PS3/PS4.

Instead of being sorry or more understanding with the issue because it obviously caused a lot of frustation to the players they just do stuff like this.
While tons of crazy ofensive posts get ignored, minor things like this can get you perma banned.

Did you know forum people can be warned and banned for simply being rude to another forumer? That's what the report button is for.

Don't create or respond to rude posts. It gets you nowhere. Let the sociopaths stew in their own incompetence.

Sounds like he got banned for a legit reason, and you're only complaint is that other people don't also get banned... They basically just ban whoever gets reported, they don't actually parse through threads for offenses (god if they did that would be the worst job in the world).

Even if a permaban is a bit harsh, calling SE incompetent on their own forums is a pretty dick move, and one you should expect repercussions over :/

Umm, yeah you may not want to post this after reading one of those pastebin. It clearly states any posts on the forum about the ban is also a violation, I know it was directed at the original user, but you can be banned for this.

To be perfectly honest, the rules and standards for what constitutes offensive material on these forums vary wildly from one mod to another and even among the same mods depending on the current situation on the forums or in the game. The rules are so entirely arbitrarily enforced that they may as well not be enforced at all.

I've seen people not get banned for insulting individual devs directly, while others get banned for making general assessments of the dev team. I've seen people get banned for calling out another forum post where the original poster was being obviously abusive, while the original post and poster get no reprimand of any sort. I've seen people get banned for talking about one group of players, but there are whole threads dedicated to trashing other groups of players.

Without 3 strikes? what about the "This notice has been sent to you as a last warning" on line 27? They have obviously had temp bans before, also the initial 10 day temp ban, the second email was sent 9 days after (first on 3rd June, 2nd on 12th) therefore it looks like the reevaluated it prior to allowing access and they thought this along with the previous violations the player had committed were actually grounds for a perma ban.

When you sign up for the forums you agree to the terms and conditions, this is a contract and as it states in the terms and conditions "Posting content with the intention of criticizing either Square Enix staff or specific individuals." the ban was justified, if you keep doing it you will get a ban.

Also just by posting this you will probably be banned yourself.

My sis had the same thing happ no warnings nothing first it was a 2 day ban then 17 day Yet SE never sent any emails or anything then last it some how went to perma ban and guess what lol sadly there is nothing you can do. She contacted SE only for them to say they do not have anything to do with the forums
