    Parry that has auto attack on it?

    It's called a Counter Attack.

    If it's like Vengeance, then it's called a Spike Barrier.

    I think SAM should implement a Counter Attack, a buff that gives 50% chance for a counter or something.

    Other than that, I don't think it should be attached directly to Parry because in some circumstances, you may not want to attack the enemy. Instead, make it a buff.

    They could make Parry increase hate by a generous amount.

    This could let tanks use their DPS combo instead of their hate combo.

    I would rather see parry give a stack and after we get a certain number, it would reset the cd timer on one of our abilities.

    Unless its an offensive buff like resets FoF or zerk, its not worth it. WAR CDs are on short timers and PLDs CDs are organized in advance.

    Parries main draw backs are RNG, how healing works and how important DPS is.

    It would be nice if it at least gave a % chance for riposte, 25% or 50% chance, for AA damage. Wouldn't be game breaking just a bit of extra oomph. As for killing a mob by accident, a la t12 bennus or something, I don't think one or 2 tank riposte could kill an enemy. They aren't going to sit there for mins waiting to die, most of the time its 15-20 sec at most. That's about 5-7 enemy auto attacks, maybe 2 or 3 abilities. Call it 10 possibly parry-able attacks, at 25% chance that's 3 or 4, 500 or 600 damage. Shouldn't accidentally too many things.

    I'd say the ideal would be Parry can be put up to 100% Parry chance akin to Accuracy, with different caps vs different enemies. Would make itemization even more "interesting".

    I don't hate this idea, but I don't like it either.

    Sure, parry is underwhelming, but all the secondary stats are.

    I'm all down for adding layers of depth to mechanics, believe me, I crave something that's actually worth theorycrafting over. This idea... just strikes me as being really... bland? Maybe... kind of... sort of... could be cool?

    It's because any half assed RNG defense stat (Specially one that stacks poorly) is trash and any attempts to change it from what it is makes it anything but...parry. Sadly they keep throwing it at us expecting something to stick while giving us the ability to stack passive increases such as DET. It just needs to be rolled into the character and done away with already.
