you'll prob be lv synced to coil, so 170+ gear wont matter, and can't use 50+ skills either i guess.

Since content in HW is rather high ilv, you will probably need to get ilv 120 at least, before starting on HW stuff.
So if they do boost echo that much, you can gear up in coil, to get into HW.
