Does having the PS4 phyiscal CE mean I will have to start using the disk to play?

I started by downloading the free trial, then I bought the disc version which included a code for me to input. The actual disc has never seen the inside of my PS4. XD

the EA isn't limited Per-say but the game itself is i think there will be a 14 day mercy for those who have ordered and got in with pre-order codes. those 2 weeks is before the first major release of the tomestones of LAW.

I bought a ps4 disc for ps4 back in some where of time don't remember. To be able to launch and play FFXIV ARR on ps4 i have to insert the disc which I find is very annoying (knowing the disc doesn't do a jack beside be in there just to be in there). So I install the free trial client and then I am no longer need the disc and I download the EA 1.7 GB to the ps4. At this point, I am still unsure if I have to absolute insert the god damn disc to be able to play HW or not. All the info I found so far lack verified.

note: when I insert the disc, I install the full client but then I still need to insert the disc. Download the trial client also install the full game but I don't need to insert the disc

BASICLY: the EA will be limited from 19th til 23rd with a grace period for 2 possible weeks (as with ARR.) after the two weeks is up the Tomestones of LAW and a few more features will be added, because of this those who have been in EA but not registerd via disk or code, that they own heavens ward would not be able to play after the grace period. your disc is valid proof you own the add on, so once your account has been validated you will be able to play without the disk :3 i hope that has cleared things up.
