The only glamour option I really want is a set like Lenneth's or Hrists from the Valkyrie Profile series.

Quite the contrary, you'll only see Elf clothes on elves, human clothes on humans, Roe clothes on Roes, etc.

the problem is people want the basic sets, which are unique to the races themselves, on other races. I can already say without a shadow of a doubt that's not going to happen. Should they be dyable? Yes, please. Will they? I don't know, because I'm not a dev.

What makes them so unique? They don't have anything that defines the race on them. They are basicly vests/long boots and PANTS.

For example the new armor, is suppost to be made for elves mostly yet everyone can shove them on. They are VERY elvish in design and you can plainly see that they were made for elves. HOWEVER their starter gear is basicly just some cloths.

I don't see any other race wearing the start clothes outside of the races that wear them. That alone is enough reason for them to stay race bound.

It shouldn't be racial in the first place. Its more like regional gear then "racial"

Honestly, its not like racial gear in other games. It is literally just some white and black clothing that suits the region.

regional gear is grand company gear. Gear that you can only buy in a specific region.

Same goes for hempen underpants, there's no good reason to have them be race based, and I'd love to have more glamour options.

Dyable yes but making each unique set available to all races, no thanks and I see you mentioned the female to male clothes and vice versa I feel they should be restricted both ways to their appropriate race/gender *Doesn't want to see guys in mini skirts & I am a woman*.
