For someone who's levelled all of their jobs to 50, you should know better. Actually, quests are one of the better ways to get experience because it's quite generous. If you did literally every side quest in the game, I can absolutely guarantee you'll get more than just a handful of levels. To OP. Have you done any of the quests out there? If you did every quest in the game at your level range(after level 15 i'd say) you wouldn't even gain one level. I have literally done EVERY side quest in the game, they really don't account for anything they're really just there to pass the time while waiting for DF to pop.
I spent a lot of my sidequests to get my Paladin to 50 and hardly did any content besides. I earned at least 7 of my 40-50 levels doing this.
Either way, I think quests are actually a really good way to earn XP and shouldn't be nerfed. It's foolish reasoning to assume that nerfing quests will slow down level grinders. On the contrary, it will only slow down players who are legitimately enjoying the games content while the grinders will continue to do Fates or leves to grind their experience.

From one who did DD 75 times to get to high level fastest, levels will and do not matter in this game. Its just a crappy time-sink, honestly.
As the people said above, it will just punish legit players whilst people like me will grind to 60 in a matter of hours. One should not make "levels" of a game content.
The only game which managed to make levels content is old everquest 1 where it takes an entire day of grinding for hours to get 1 level. Then at high levels it takes 2-3-4 days to get one level. When there are not many high levels and gear doesn't matter very much.

You understood me wrong. I will be between these people you stated. I meant people who will ignore quests, dungeons, etc. and just will do fates to be world's first 60. And even in this case world freak is not an insult, more like description of unnatural behavior.
This.
I don't think that ignoring most of the game content to get to 60 first is usual.
EDIT: Added second quote.

I don't get it. There's still plenty of time left until Heavensward to get your leves built up to 100 too. Why is this bothering you?
.

So they hit 60 within 2 days of the expansion coming out by completely ignoring the Main Story, so what? It's not like they can do anything without doing those quests, so honestly it's pretty well balanced. In fact, it just means that they'll probably hit 60 and get stuck doing level 58 quests since the story demands it. I'm personally going to just enjoy the storyline and save my leves for my crafter/gatherering classes.
Player
no one is gonna hoard quests or leve quests as a battle class.. people who craft will have items all ready to turn in on day one to boost there crafter a few lvls to get the jump. (yes i did this) I also dont see the issue with it. I got the mats and made the items and waiting till i can get xp to turn in. Thats how leves work and many will use it.

Actually, you'd have been better off making the items in question on day one rather than before it. That's valuable crafting experience you're wasting, yo.no one is gonna hoard quests or leve quests as a battle class.. people who craft will have items all ready to turn in on day one to boost there crafter a few lvls to get the jump. Too late
It is already confirmed that lv1-50 MSQ will get an exp buff.
And why nerfing lv50+ quests?
I doubt many players will level up to 60 without doing any quest. Especially since the player have to do a quest every 2 levels to learn the new skills

Because I mean, it's not like you need them to do the story or end-game or anything.
Not that I'm agreeing with the OP, just wanted to point our how ridiculous that post is. Everything in the game revolves around what level you are except for roleplaying (and even then you need to be a certain level to explore new zones or wear fitting RP gear).
