Glamour is a really big part of this game for me, and I really hate that just because I decided I'd rather play with a pretty male character I get penalized. They're not likely to frighten away girls playing the game (I am one so...) with these outfits being available to everyone and if the guys playing haven't been scared off yet by the things they've put out then I don't see where the issue is for having these unisex.
