Yo who can't buy a house?

I think if SE introduced a 2x1 hyrdoponic garden as a private chamber only furnishing (can't have a mansion filled with 200 of these things ) it would satisfy a very large portion of the people because for some people, gardening is the biggest part of housing.

I've had similar thoughts, if they introduced Flower Pots as a 1x1 item in private rooms, it wouldn't interfere with the economics involved in crossbreeding... since if the number of full gardens exploded then the prices for things obtained through hybridization would just get shot to hell like what happened with soldiery mats. And having a garden is how people who have invested in a house can recoup their investment. But letting people grow their individual seeds would actually open up new markets... if I get a result from crossbreeding like a minion seed or something else but I'm growing Thavnairian onions, it might just end up stagnation in the FC chest because the cost/benefit to growing it isn't there for me... but if others who don't have it can plant it (or a Chocobo coloring seed from allied seals, or krakka root seed, etc) in a single flower pot in their private room, what's the harm? Someone using a full garden at a house to grow these items is underutilizing their garden anyway.

WTB Deed Transfers of whole house and plot, fully furnished.

It'd make selling houses to people on packed servers easier instead of having to make people buy the right to relinquish AND THEN the plot from the nation. Would it more expensive than a base plot? Probably (fully furnished and all), but its better than the current system if you want to buy a specific plot in a specific ward for whatever reason.

Gil was never the real issue with housing. It dosent matter if you have billions of gil if the plots are sold out within minutes of new wards being added.

Anyone with billions of gil can get a house easily enough on any server. There are more then a few people with a house that dont really use it, but would love several times the price they payed for the house in the first place, I imagine.

oh boy.. don't even get me started on UI... Why PC players have to suffer just because consoles can't handle the same features..

As a crafter who has 8 retainers designated for mats, I'm perhap more familiar with the clunky FC chest UI than I should be.. Then there's the whole FC privilege issue, on top of the endless confirmations.. mail UI not working properly.. Seriously, just let us make addons to fix this ourselves already!!

Yeah the ui is a huge drawback. The delay on each ui action can make doing stuff tedious. But thats offtopic. (and if I continue with that topic, ill never stop)

Famfrit is completely out of housing plots. I see FCs who have at least 7 plots with tier tag on it (Why is this even a thing?)

Having just assisted with such a transfer on Lamia, I will agree that a "Deed of Transfer" would make the whole mess easier. As it is, I just happened to catch the shout of someone who is moving to Gilgamesh and wanted to sell her beach house. One of my FC mates has wanted a beach house since she started the game in December.

I caught her on FB, she said she wanted it, but she was at work. So she had to have her girlfriend log into the game, pay the seller two million just to relinquish the lot, wait for the seller to totally demolish everything, then jump on the lot before anyone tried to ninja it. The lot cost was 3.2 million gil. The entire process took 30 minutes because of unfamiliarity with menus on the part of both buyer and seller, plus the fact that the buyer's girlfriend had no idea how to use her keybinds, hehe.

taking a look at your lodestone shows me that don't have ONE SINGLE CRAFTING OR MINING JOB unlocked, no wonder its to expensive... you have no idea how to make gil.

edit: and before people assume im someone who plays all day long i have a full time job and 4 kids at home so i rarely have a chance to sit down on a daily basis and get anything more than a single dungeon run done. PLEASE STOP making excesses and keep this on the real topic of no houses
