rolling out payments in waves only makes sense. did we not see what happened when that store tried to do everything at once? i was charged at 5am on the 2nd. i'd say by the 5th they'll have charged most everyone.

I'm wondering if they're charging in order of who pre-ordered first. Looking back, I placed my order immediately when it was available, before they went temporarily out of stock for a few hours.

i just got charged as of 11:19 am est. went to the SE store website and it says shipping. hmm this might come next week

Dunno most preorders I did charged me immediately upon placing the order, which was even several Months prior to release in some cases. <1 Month doesn't sound that bad (actually it's like what 18 days before early access?).

On that note I am from EU and had not gotten the charge notification, nor did I get charged yet. :/ I would really prefer if they charged immediately upon purchase and not be nervous whether the payment will go through correctly or not...

These emails are for US customers I assume. If you got charged when you placed the order it's a pre-purchase not a pre-order.

I was charged for my CE this morning. The store still says that the physical product will be available on 6-23-2015. Hoping that this is a place holder. If not will I receive instructions for downloading the expansion in time for Early Access? I realize that this is probably a silly question but I learned the hard way with SE to always ask the silly questions.

I second this - how ARE they handling the early access for physical pre-orders, seems silly to make us download the entire expansion.

Also, do we need the HW disk in to play or ARR?

From my understanding, we won't need to have any disk in at all. We'll also need to download "patch 3.0" regardless of whether we have Heavenward or not, otherwise people playing as the new classes or as au ra will be invisible to you.

I just got charged. My order says "Validated". I don't actually expect it to change to say "Shipping" though because that never happened with my moogle order. They just sent me an email a few days later with the shipping info.

To give people an idea of how long the whole process might take, this is how my delivery moogle order went.

May 13th (Wednesday) I received an email that they would be charging me within the next 24-72 hours and they charged me a few hours later.

May 18th (Monday) I received an email that my order had been shipped out and they gave me a URL with which to track my shipment.

The tracker shows that they had shipped out my order on May 14th and my item arrived to me on May 21st (I'm in Canada and I paid for 5-10 day shipping.)

Mine was taken out this morning too. Didn't realize it was billed under a different billing name but clicking it shows its square store.

Only here could we find a post begging to be be billed already lol.
