Anyone with an ounce of common sense should understand,Anyone with an ounce of common sense should understand that this change is for the better of the game, it doesn't matter if it may not be what you personally wished it to be. Fact of the matter is, the general population have enough headaches and drudgery in real life.
People don't want to log on the game and jump through hoops and red tape to make gear (especially low level gear).
I love the new vision for crafting, I just hope that it doesn't swing too far in one direction.
that their opinion is not equal to the opinion of the general population.
Edit: Hah Okiura would that be considered a double post i wonder? xd
Against the changes or the post? just to be clear lol.
An aye i'm curious to know if people overall like dislike or are 50/50 on the changes and why.
Its all just PoV at the end day, as the Dev's Can do what they please with the game.
With people deciding to play or not play based on there own opinion of if the game is getting better or worse.
No more, No less.![]()
I have been on this thread since this morning and I don't remember anyone saying they thought it would decrease the prices in any such way....To the people who think that gear costs are too much, and this will fix the problem. What are you smoking? By removing so many things in the game, all you are doing is INCREASING the amount of money people have available to spend on the existing items. This will not drive prices down. What it will do is drive prices up by making the most basic materials required for all items BECAUSE they are not ALSO decreasing the amount of gil in the game.
Oh lol.. Sorry.. against the changes.Against the changes or the post? just to be clear lol.

Haha np thanks for the info..
That's interesting then, if its that clear cut on those forums.
I still feel this tread is mostly even, though the more detailed post have been against with simpler ones in support.
(not in all cases there have been some great post in support of the changes too, but I'm forced to generalise).
I'm even more curious about the Japanese ones now.
i hate crafting, i tolerate it in other MMOs but cant stand it here.
this easing of crafting is making me want to do it now.
i have a feeling a large amount of other players turned off by the game would like this change as well....hmmmm if only there were more ways to bring in other players...
15 abilities each? what is this... Kindergarten?A jack of all trades WHM... what is this 1989?
I get that some people liked crafting the way it was and are bummed that it's changing. But I am glad that these changes are taking place. I couldn't stomach the crafting system before, but I'm looking forward to beginning now. So that's one more crafter in Eorzea; anybody else?
Now all we need are some changes to that mind-numbing mini-game and we'll have a crafting system that will be intrinsically enjoyable, and no longer tedious!
Currently, I mainly craft in this game, but I won't hold judgment against anything until it is actually implemented and I experience it firsthand.
Its suppose to be a mmorpg not a crafting sim.
To the people who keep talking about the people who like crafting the way it was..
These changes do not change crafting in any way. The system used to craft will remain exactly the same. Random synths will require less Mats but its not gonna be any different. These changes don't actually address the problems that make people not like crafting. I'm sorry but your claims that we are resistant to change because we lik it the way it is are wrong. We are resistant to changes that do not do anything to correct the problem.
