Drawing a direct comparison to my life right now? Hmmm...

I grew up in a place I'd most compare to Gridania, but now live in a place probably more similar to Mor Dhona?
I've no comparison for my current job as QA, but I have self-taught leather tooling *stamps away...*.
I'd be a leatherworker miqo'te, definitely, with under-priced products.... too under-priced for my own good. >_< (though... those leatherworker quests would fit in with my current job because of the emphasis on quality).
I've had martial arts training and some archery in the past as well (Kempo Moo Duk Kwan and Takashi-Ryu Iaido <3), so I'd say I was at once a pugilist and low level/beginner archer before settling into leatherworking in Mor Dhona. I'd also have a low level ability in Culinarian and spam the pineapple cashew chicken or popoto dishes while giving random baked goods to my friends/LS/FC?.
I'd probably rarely say anything to my customers or passing adventurers and they would have to initiate conversations with me, first (.....I type a lot, but I don't talk a lot. Figure that one out...). I would have a closet-hobby of buying and collecting jackets and item bags (IE jackets and backpacks/messenger bags...) from high level weavers and other leatherworkers o_O

I'd envy adventurers going out every day and doing the things a shy leatherworker couldn't.

I would a warrior scholar. Traveling through out Eorzea with my trusty bow in hand. I would probably end up helping Scions of the Seventh Dawn or something or dead....or both.

I would mostlikely be somewhere in the outskirts of thanaland, mining away and getting a headache every 3rd day because of insolation :/

I would likely live in the suburbs of Limsa Lominsa. And I would likely be a serf, as most of you would probably be as well, let's face reality.

Being more positive, I would be a filthy rich importer and trader, only Rowena would be my better.

Knowing my skill set. More than likely a solider or a craftsman. If I went with crafting i would probably apprentice in Limsa Lominsa while also trying to mine my own materials. As a solider I probably would just work my way up ranks and pray they dont send me on a suicide mission. I am not some chosen of Light. Pit me against a beast man tribe a few times and I'm probably their next meal. No illusions here.

I would be a weaver. I haven't actually made a costume set from XIV yet, but I made a real life Noble's Tunic from FFXI, so surely my clothcraft skills would be at level 50. I've also done some cool cross stitches over the years.

I've considered making the Crescent Moon Nightgown from this game, but never got around to it. I found a great pattern and everything.

Maybe if we were born in a harsh dictatorship. It was asked to adapt our real life to the game. Guessing anyone born into a harsh dictatorship doesn't play the game.

I'd like to think I'd be a successful warrior of light, retired in luxury after vanquishing every enemy in the land.
In reality, I'd probably have been eaten alive by level 1 ground squirrels outside Gridana.
