Dragoon is not that bad. Sadly, DPS attracts the Kiritos of the real world; and in the real world Kirito would have died about 23, 851 times to be completely accurate -- this is assuming ghosts can fight in Aincrad, granted, because death was permanent.

The worst part is Dragoon wears a class-specific armor type starting from 30 onward that gives them defenses/hp closer to but not exactly matching a tank's, and they have plenty of cooldowns available :P

Don't let the haters get you down, son. Being the best player is all about the best attitude. There is positively no wrong choice of class in this game, DPS is merely a question of what rhythm you like to dance to. Everyone's got their jam, and dragoons bring it with a deadly slam.

What do you blame Male dragoons for though? I mean, FemDrags have something in common with Minfillia (Which explains the constant gut punches she receives) but Males...not so much.

I get 2 - 3 commendations per run on my BLM doing Qarn, CC and SV to level up.

You know how i get them? Not because I'm an uber badass BLM.
Its because I'm polite and offer boss strats to anyone unfamiliar with the dungeons.

Many people will just give Commendations to the tank or healer as a reflex, but many more (myself included) will give it to people who did something worth being thanked for.
