Apparently Seida bought HW from JP PS store and downloaded it (1.7gb file), my guess is what she downloaded was only the client. So when early access comes, we'll probably be prompted to download an update just like we normally would when a new patch comes, which is through the client. So that would explain why digital doesn't require to enter a code for early access.
