Dang, and I thought I was crazy with four. I'm seriously burning out at this point; I don't think I could do another one. I had a three day period where none of my Zodiac drops would drop and I about gave up on it right then and there. I'm taking that as a sign not to start a fifth one. Kudos to you for your... uh... stick-to-it-iveness!

I'm working on my 6th at the moment. I need to complete one more ATMA book, have 11/16 dungeon drops done, 68 alexandrites (need 7 more) with materia ready, so light farming both Novus and Mahatma's should be all I have left to do soon. It'll be my last given the other roles I have leveled I don't really play or enjoy all that much.

Pretty special to have all 10 done. Congrats.

It took me forever to get my first zeta! I was going mad having 3 of my dungeons taking over 30 runs to get the drop. I cannot even bring myself to finish my second zodiac which is already at nexus stage. I just got my first zeta about 20mins ago.

If it's your first, probably not.
If it's your second, yes it is.
Since you can do the zodiac quests as you do the rest of the pieces it's entirely possible to get 2 steps done at once, especially if you light grind the zodiac dungeons.

I think they need to add that warning they have on XI saying not to play MMO's for too long. Otherwise you might end up with 10 zodiac weapons =\
