The only thing that stinks about syncing is when it puts you below 30 and you cannot use your job abilities. I think they should change the first job abilities (level 30) to be useable at level 1 or 10. You are already giving up loads of cross class abilities, and then when you sync you lose the job abilities as well.

That raises the question of having equipment that's job-specific. Strip the soul stone, and suddenly you're naked, because none of that stuff is legal on your class. Particularly troublesome if your main weapon requires your job, since that makes stripping your soul stone flat out impossible.

This argument is really only applicable if you're using your AF, AF+1 or Relic. If you're using any other gear then it isn't a problem as they are all wearable by classes and Jobs. Yes, even Ironworks and Dreadwyrm.

And so if you're using that, you're screwed, too bad? And that's not true in any case. All high-level SCH weapons after Darklight are job-specific, including Ironworks and Dreadwyrm. Only SMN stuff can be used by ACN.

Low Level duty roulette contains 15-47 dungeons. Holding threat as a Gladiator without shield oath in Auram Vale might be a bit tricky. If they want to separate pre 30 and post 30 roulette's then you might have a point.
