I'm wondering about this myself. I have not received any email yet and like the guy says, 13th is when we should be getting charged.

so as the title suggest the 1st of June SE will charge for preorders of heavensward, today i got paid like i do every Thursday and i bought the last thing i need for my pc today, then i checked my email and saw an email that was sent yesterday about the preorders that i will not be able to afford until the 4th. Am I screwed out of my preorder because of this?

Yes, its legal.:P I order plants from mail-order nurseries all the time. They don't ship until its good to plant them in your area, but most charge when you place the order.

No, sorry, I haven't really saved the sources, because I don't think they have gone out with it on their site or something.

Someone linked one source of their official policy. I think they said it on Twitter, and even on this forum.

I have a question about that. I selected PayPal to pay for it but all it asked me to log in and confirm but it didnt allow me to select how to pay. Its automatically set up for bank account payment but for a purchase like the CE (168$) I want to use the Visa attached to the account. When it comes time to pay are they just going to debit the account or will they send me a link saying "please complete your payment". It's ok either way, I'm just hoping I can change it.

If you go into your paypal settings and set the default payment method to your Visa before SE charges the account for your pre-order, then it should charge the Visa instead of taking the money from your bank account. Then after the charge goes through you can switch your settings back to your bank account

I see what you're thinking but all my other emails in the last 3 years are titled Scheduled Payment Notification, and this one followed my pre-order and was titled upcoming payment. You may be right though, guess either way i have to wait and see.
