The funny part is not one of these changes make crafting easier to rank up, which has always been the main complaint. In fact it will make it harder to rank up since you won't be able to skill up your BSM on silver javelin heads or whatever once those recipes are removed.

this made me laugh a bit, couldn't you just rank up on other things, like gear instead of gear parts. you really dont have an argument saying that it will be harder to rank up because of the elimination of parts. sure you would get more sp per craft in the end cause you have to make 50 parts before you make the item. But now we can just make 50 items.

Leveling Crafting on Gear requires you to have multiple stacks of multiple items. When you complete a synth you get 300 Sp. that means to get one you will need to do 100 synths each requiring at least of of four separate items meaning you need 400+ items to gain one level where as now with parts you need one stack of one item.

A crafter does not train by mass producing a usable Item, they practice their skills in parts.

So what you're saying is that, without parts you can't level easily? But I thought the crafters who are upset weren't looking for ease they were looking for a challenge? O.o So now, you have one. You can't just do what you use to anymore so find another way. Also, I doubt there aren't base mats that are needed at a higher rank that you can use to continue to level up on or as you said "practice thier skills on." i.e cotton bolls into thread and so on. I know that's low rank ...it's just an example.

What I'm saying is that these fixes do not FIX anything. They make leveling crafting harder without actually altering the method by which crafting is performed. Everyone know crafting needs to be fixed, but none of the "fixes" being implemented address the problem they simply dumb down the system and lower SP/hr

So because you can't level as fast really is your only complaint? It's not the fact it can help bring more people into crafting but you won't be able to blow up to 50 in the rest of your craft classes to feel you accomplished something?

Edit: Oh and it only doesn't fix things from your POV. To others who only craft here and there or don't like to craft, the changes are huge for them. You know, the rest of the population and in most cases, the lack there of.

Others that dont like to craft or only craft here are there are equal to those people who dont level say the marauder class, or only have it at rank 10.

Crafters in this game are classes, which you seem to forget, not job or skills that every class can max within a day.
Those arent quite so much the majority as you seem to think either.
However in tune with their impatient nature a number of them tend to be very vocal on the forums.

What you are asking for crafter class inflation. But you do not seem to realise this.

Dude have you ever tried to grind several levels on finished items as opposed to stackable parts? Shouldn't you like, craft, before you post opinions on crafting. Deja vu, we've had this discussion before, I think.
