Personally for me I assumed I'd have more time than this, since the game doesn't even technically comes out until way later in the month. Amazon wouldn't charge this early.

I think because we were all under the assumption [Like before] that the money will be taken out AS IT was shipped or released.
Not 1 month beforehand. It just kinda popped out on us without any warnings. So I can see people scratching their heads, concerned, because we just got the notice
2 days ago.

Most places that dont charge immediately wont charge until your order is about to be shipped so I dont blame them for not worrying about it until closer to the date.

Yeah.. the e-mail that confirmed the pre-order was pretty explicit stating they aren't charging at that point, and will e-mail closer to when they will. This shouldn't be a surprise, even if I personally prefer the money to be taken already.

well the expansion doesn't get released until the 23rd so I assumed that I could use my paycheck on the 4th to just save until they charged me, kind of didn't expect to get charged almost a month early O.O

ive got 150$ worth of psn credit top up cards sittin on my beside table.. yet heavensward still not avialable in psn and they are not giving any information about it ask sony they blame SE and SE blames sony *facepalm*

I haven't received an email in regards to this. Two things come to mind however and they are these:
1. They are taking payments alphabetically to reduce the likelihood of double charges, whether it be a-z or z-a.
2. Someone or something is trying to get folks bank account information. And before people say that's not possible, stranger things have happened.
Were I you I would call and confirm that you did indeed get a valid email in regards to this. If it is real you can cancel it, explaining to them you did not foresee the charge coming this early but would like to reorder at a later date when funds are available. If it is some sort of malicious intent then it will be brought to their attention and therefore they can take precautions.
Again I saw that under the sun the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to the intelligent, nor favor to those with knowledge, but time and chance happen to them all.

Hmm. If they are charging a-z, then I guess I will be one of the last to get charged.

I got my email a few days ago as well. I think that they are just sending them out in random waves dependent on when you placed your order. I ordered mine on day one from the SE Store...some other friends that ordered along with me on that day also got their emails on the same day as me.I haven't received an email in regards to this. It is not a fraudulent phishing email. The email itself does not ask anything of you regarding personal information. It simply states that whatever payment source you gave them will be charged on June 1st.
For the OP. It isn't a big deal. Just either cancel your order and order a new one at the site...as there are still all versions available...or call them and ask them to charge you a week later.
