When I did t5 it was more people running out as soon as they got the symbol over their head. You have to wait a second before leaving the pit. At least that's what I think was going on as my group was all the way in the pit but still getting hit sometimes. I only did it once a few weeks ago though.

You can (and should) move immediately. Sounds like the person who got the mark wasn't properly stacked.

Maybe it was that we just stacked better after the first couple wipes but we made it through by having the person with the mark wait a second before running out. Good to know the actual mechanics though.

Just a poorly designed mechanic, T5 itself is still one of the better designed coil battles.

Playing from Australia, I simply came up with a pretty accurate timer that i counted down in my head.

Regardless of animations or what anyone else was doing, 3 seconds after the phase began, i run to the top of the pit, stay for 1 second, run back down. 3 seconds later, dash for the top, wait, run back down.

Works well for me. Though i haven't had to do it again since i got my first win lol.

If you ever sit up the arm a little ways outside the fight and watch Twintania do Dive Bombs you can see she comes down facing a direction, hovers for a second then rears up and dives, with the pattern being similar to landslide. The problem is and always has been the camera system doesn't pan far enough out to see her hover above her target, let alone see her rear her head back before diving. If the camera panned out more you could move out of the way every time with ease from any point in the arena.

You haven't noticed this on literally every single Chimera? I mean, there is no hill method for Cutter's Cry or Gorgimera. Also, why are we discussing dodging the voices? Just silence the things.

When others and I ran content with people who needed T5 or wanted to learn it, we'd use way markers to describe it before pull so that people understood how deep they should go and we told them that they needed to stay that close. Sometimes we'd also leave the marker there so that people knew "Ok, I'm in the right spot" kind of thing.

I've always thought the hole trick was just that, a trick. Isn't there some "real" way to do it? Especially now with echo and so much higher ilvl?
