DirectX 11 client download link.

Have they said when we are getting this link? They have said it's a completely different client so it's going to be the full game download plus the data for Heavensward. I have a pretty good internet connection that caps out their download speed for the game, but my SSD has limited space. I don't want to prematurely remove the current client to make room for the new one if it's not avail for early access.

Pretty sure he's asking if the DX11 Client will be available during the Early Access Period, not whether its out now.

For those with more limited download limits and HDD limitations, It would suck pretty hard to to delete the current client to make way for the DX11 one, only to find out that the DX11 Client is coming on the 23rd rather than the 20th.

Ya that's exactly what i'm getting at. Steam and Battle.net max out my dl speed(10MBps) but FF14 only ever goes to 4MBps. So anyone who wants the DX11 client will have to dl the entire game over again plus the exp on top of everyone else trying to dl the exp. I wonder if they will open the DX11 and Heavensward client to dl on the Tuesday before the 19th so that once early access goes live you just log(try)in and play.

I think the DX 11 was said to be released just before official launch which could mean (with the rate of steam and psn) june 22nd a day before official launch while EA is on DX 9 launchers.

The DX11 client only changes the game engine at that currently is 18MB in size so expect the DX11 version around the same size. There's no change to the assets and those are the things that take up more space.

I expect the DX11 client to be released at the same time as the 3.0 one goes live. The Dx11 client will probably be a checkbox in the launcher.

Of course it'll be worth it.
The sooner we all start using it, the sooner bugs can be discovered and smashed.

but.... what if its a game breaking bug with dx11 only.. than all pc users are SOL.. while ps3,ps4 yell master race in our faces lol

Simple ... We just go back to the DX9 client and wait till it's fixed :3
