I just want to see what everyone thinks about the new spells.Personally, I really like them. Especially the adloquium update.

I think it's a good change as it changes the meta to allow for a better PUG match. Scholar-Scholar parties should be closer to WHM-WHM parties in 8-man content this way.
What's really interesting is how scholar pairs with astrologian though. Since SCH gain a move that is essentially "Bane" for buffs, it might be good to see if the scholar can spread single buffs like that gained from the astrologian's cards or even a Ninja's goad. It will substantially change how scholars work in a party compared to a white mage (who is looking to be more stationary with their static healing buff field).

(I'm so sorry)
I think it "Banes" Adlo and Eye for an Eye - not all buffs.I think it's a good change as it changes the meta to allow for a better PUG match. Scholar-Scholar parties should be closer to WHM-WHM parties in 8-man content this way.

I'm not sure about the losing the pet for magic power since fairy is a big part of sch healing.
I think this depends on if that spell makes you unable to summon your fairy again. Otherwise you can just resummons her with a swiftcast maybe, and have her on top of you buff. Although if it is a large buff to your healing potency, that means bigger shields too. Apparently the version they had in testing was bordering OP
Scholars are going to be a powerful healer, but more so in organized group/raid settings. But the new animations still look too bland for my taste.
Yeah a healing potency would be pretty nice I'm excited to try this out. I hope that sacrificing for magic power isn't just a mp restore since scholar doesn't have any problems with mp.I think this depends on if that spell makes you unable to summon your fairy again. apparently dissipation on the test was +50% damage and healing and was obviously considered way too powerful and was stated to be nerfed before live release
but to answer the topic, every single skill scholars are getting seems very powerful and useful. Moreso than any other class save maybe summoner
Scholar wasn't even in a bad place to warrant such nice new tools to begin with either
Can you say how long this buff lasts? It has to last enough so you can cast all your DoTs and still have some of it left to recover the poor tank that was all by himself...
