Dear Devs, can you let us know if the Aesthetician will allow Au Ra to change Limbal?

This right here. Its not a matter of should or shouldn't its a matter of how it fits in the customization sections of the current system.

It should be both. Either the aesthetician has the ability to change eyes or he doesn't. Sometimes I don't even know why they bother attempting to have lore around these things.

What about the option to have 2 different coloured limbal rings? I've always envied irl people who have heterochromic eyes and made my character just that. So having same coloured limbal rings for 1 eye and not the other really killed it for me to have it as an option (unless I somehow missed the option in Benchmark... ><).

Also on the subject of Aesthesian, when will the Developers allow for multiple face paint? I've been wanting eyeshadow + blush for the longest time. :3

When applied to the eyes, your eyes will appear a different color.

These same Alchemists devised a second type of lens that are capable of hiding or enhancing the coloration of an Au Ra's Limbal Rings.

Oh yeah! I would love to have separate limbal ring colors then I could actually do my own eyes! (one is blue with a ring of brown, the other is brown with a ring of blue.)

Which is totally cool. I just feel if this is possible, all races (including Au Ra) should be able to change their base eye colour. Au Ra can still change limbal rings as their extra.

Reminds me of what happens in a lot of games when new classes/jobs/characters/rigs are introduced.

The new guys get everything fancy, even new things that where not technically possible before. Perhaps the designers are now more experienced and want to avoid mistakes of the past. And this is all good and dandy, except it only works forward. As in, typically speaking, the old never gets updated to the new.

Rare are the companies that will update something that "Doesn't sell anymore". Basically, Au'ra will be their Cash cow for quite some time, and all the other races will continue falling behind. And then it'll happen to the Au'Ra too, once the next race is designed with even better features that not even the Aura will have.

But there is an ever more bitter side of this, and it's when the older models can actually use the new assets, but are "Held back" to further milk the new cash cow, and only released later as a "Magical upgrade we worked hard for" to bring everyone in line. And this, is what annoys me of the current issue at hand. I am 100% positive the assets to make this change is there, but will be held back until they've milked their new child for a while.

What in the world are you even going on about? The only thing unique about the new race is a little ring in their eyes and some horns with scales. They aren't really anything that special. Honestly, I don't even care for them personally.

I think you're really overreacting. What exactly makes them so incredibly special and advanced versus the other races?

It does not make sense to be able change limbral ring color but not eye color.

This so much. I don't know why they don't add eye color at the list really... we can use lenses in real life so why cant we change eye color in game? -_-
