    Because you say so? and other peoples' reasons for wanting to be anonymous mean nothing - even the concerns about the intrusive RMT tells all day long? This is what I mean - why are some so against even the idea? Is this a generational thing, the 'always on' mentality that no one is allowed even a moment's peace?

    I'm assuming you want the function to work the same in FFXIV as it did in FFXI in which it will not prevent you from getting RMT spams. You still appear in zone/world searches, just with your job/race/rank information hidden.
