Pointing out how incorrect and misleading your posts are for anyone else reading this forum is hardly nit picking. I sincerely do hope you stop posting since you just stated you considered the BiS WHM Det 0 acc set I happened to have logged out in bad. While you're nit picking my posts, tell me more about the raid meta as almost a full ironworks white mage. My last quote (from the dev post) only solidifies my position, not contradicts as you would so like to believe. Either way, i'm growing dull of this. I have little desire to debate these things. But please, carry on.
I LOVE whippin' out my E-Peen
We also don't really know all the skills. The ones showed off in the little video for Paladin and Warrior didn't include the stuff we saw them do in the benchmark, so we donno exactly what we'll get. Still, damage being part of what we do kinda... can't be hammered into us more than it already is. Remember, we're the ones Cleric Stance COMES from.
Definitely true that the one uppercut attack that Paladin used in the benchmark was not shown. It is possible that we get more than 5 new abilities and that may be one of the others for Paladin but we really have no idea if the benchmark was just an older animation style shown or what until we get the patch notes/data.I LOVE whippin' out my E-Peen

Go back and actually watch the live letter. That quote is out of context and is contradictory the overall message the devs we conveying. Like the PLD they are giving it more dps options that they felt it was lacking. While you're nit picking my posts, tell me more about the raid meta as almost a full ironworks white mage. Just give astro shell spell, that will rise only magdef. If party uses whm+sch/astro, then whm will just cast proshell like always and if its ast+sch it will be sch protect and ast shell. Don't need to change any traits.
My hope is if we get a new trait, is that cleric stance increases our MP regen by X%, or maybe critical hits by damaging spells to restore X% mp to encourage us to actually do something dps related while in cleric stance.

I can't see them ever adding a bonus to MP regen through Cleric Stance. This would reinforce some people to stick to Cleric Stance when healing is needed, and may cause people to activate Cleric Stance at horrible times. I know it would require some timing and good WHMs would be fine, but I don't think healers should be required to DPS to regain MP.
Alternatively they could just patch it up like they did with Blood for Blood:I can't see them ever adding a bonus to MP regen through Cleric Stance. Blood for blood (without trait) increases outgoing damage by 10%, but also incoming damage by 25%
Traited blood for blood increases outgoing damage by 30% and incoming damage by 15%.
If this would apply to cleric's stance: Cleric's Stance trait could remove the 20% healing reduction penalty. While not overly powerful or useful at all, your healing would be less crippled at least.
There's also the possibility they'll just remove the int/mnd swap completely and just level it - Be it halfway or the highest number. Remember that new spell they mentioned in the live letter where you'd deal damage and heal at the same time? With how cleric's stance works it'll be either:
good damage, bad healing (cleric's stance on)
or
bad damage, good healing (cleric's stance off)
Or they could just trait proshell that it'll be more potent compared to a cross classed one. 20% perhaps? Rather than the default 15%. There's a lot of possibilities, that's for sure :P
I actually really like this idea. While it wouldn't be huge, since INT and MND are swapped anyways, removal of the 20% reduction to healing would further support WHM being the "pure" healer.Alternatively they could just patch it up like they did with Blood for Blood:

The whole point of making everyone get proshell is precisely so you aren't forced to run a WHM for buffs - why would they make it so that WHM get something to just make it stronger, again?
If they had unique buffs or something, maybe, but I would think it would be far more interesting if that trait was simply something else.
The entire idea of cross class is a joke now - there is now "build your own char" its "every healer needs THM and CNJ because they need swiftcast and protect". This is pretty ridiculous, don't you think? Similarly, every dps char needs either archer or lancer for rb/b4b/invig. Woohoo.
Much better if they just gave you those skills (or better yet, build chars around the fact that you won't need them, give unique regen abilities or dps cooldowns that aren't boring as hell).
