You don't have to kill R30 NMs as a rank 50. You can make a party of rank 30 players and kill them just fine.
It's not like I can make a party of rank 70 players when I kill Dodore, Great Buffalo, Uraeus, or Batraal.

While I can understand saying that you can make a party for said NMs, I think the OP's point was the fact that without said help (which some people may not have) the drops are moot by the time you can do it yourself. Casual players do exist...and why should they be penalized in terms of acquiring gear simply because they aren't in it for the big groups/linkshells that can help with those kind of things?
Maybe its just me being cynical, but in all the time I've played XI and XIV, I can't recall many (or any) moments where I had a random stranger drop whatever it is that they were doing to help some random guy kill an NM on a whim for armor that would be relevant to him or her at that time.
Now, before people throw in the typical "Join an LS, make some friends, pay someone to do it for you, etc." Not everyone will be in that kind of situation. All of you people jumping on his case should seriously think of an intelligent, thought-out response before turning into the the rest of the cliche trolls on these forums. Hell, at least provide some helpful info, point them to a guide, or even a wiki page if you must. It takes a whole 5 seconds as opposed to coming up with a snide remark. To those of you who DID provide some insight: I'm sure he appreciates it.

I thought WoW, being casual friendly, also only allow you to solo dungeon when you're over the recommended level? I have yet to see a game that allow you to solo stuff like dungeon or boss without being over its level.
yup....there isn't any valid reason why a rnk 42 NM is dropping rnk 30 gear. It should be a rnk 30ish NM where a party at similar level can take it on. Finding a party with members rnk 37+ is ridiculous for such gear. While I can understand saying that you can make a party for said NMs, I think the OP's point was the fact that without said help (which some people may not have) the drops are moot by the time you can do it yourself. You can take it down with a small party at r30. You haven't tried, yet you claim it as fact. People can take down Toto-Rak bosses at R25, and those stuff are harder than low lvl NM outside.
These NMs aren't designed to be soloed. Sure you can solo them at 50 but it's low rank content meant to be enjoyed by light parties. I guarantee any of those low rank NMs can be killed by a party of 4 rank 30s. Solo NMs should be added, but the game was lacking in party content when these were implemented and that should be the priority.

I think the point hes trying to make is that the gap between the level that the armor is used, the level of the NM itself, and the difficulty involved (in terms of ranking) to kill said NM can a bit annoying at times.
OP is being too scared to even talk to other ppl for help nor may not have any LS/friends online... sad OP.
The level or difficulty is not exactly as OP want to convey. Small party of people around the rank of the drop can kill the NM alright, they aren't meant for soloing. They are even somewhat too easy because none of them have adds like Dodore or Mosshorn, or can OHKO your mage in a party like Great Buffalo.
And everyone here seems to think hes asking them to be lowered so he can solo. Where are you all getting this from because I'm not seeing it.
All I see is hes was suggesting the disparities to be relaxed a bit. Nothing more.
Thank you for that wonderfully useless contribution. I happen to be a friend of his, mind you.
