The duration is still 30 seconds. Other than tanks and some melee, I rarely find people get hit enough to take advantage of the barriers. Useful on enemies with unavoidable AoE, most certainly, but I won't make any lofty claims on it yet.yah but SCH mag pwr will also be higher, specially with dissipation; So Adloq will probably still be stronger, just like it is now, even on tanks with 12k hp (well it depends on how geard the SCH is, vs how geard target of SS is)
Also you can't party-SS at all, in combat; you'll be able to use AOE-Adloq multiple times throughout a raid. And Adloq also heals, so it's worth a lot more HP than SS. It can be boosted with potency buffs, SS can't.

rarely? it could save your party from wiping, in any progression run. If pt got low ilv, it would help a lot in any primal/coil run. would save ppl from accidental cleaves, stomps, puddles, ultima bombs, T10 dash/tether/cones, T11 spread/stack/transition/lightning/tether, T13 flares/adds/dives/stacking/akh/twisters..well pretty much everything in the whole fight.
For normal instances you could apply it, and ignore certain AOEs, like midgardsormr inner/outer turmoil, or those segmented fire AOEs.
so it's about timing. so if you waste it on bad timing, it doesnt mean the skill itself isn't useful, you just wasted its potential. It's not useful in every situation, but neither is adloq itself, or fairy buffs, or lustrate, or sacred soil.
