That's the whole point though, they realized people were using MRD as DPS and realized that the way WAR was setup didn't lend itself to well to being an offtank. Now with the changes what people were trying to achieve with MRD can now be done on WAR.

For me the NIN changes sound interesting, I do wonder how intense the positionals will be for them though and how much it might influence their combat. As it stood they were only sneak attack and trick attack but only trick attack became anything to write home about at 50 since it provided a dps increase for everyone. My guess is the DoT finisher and the slashing attack resist may have positional requirements in order to activate. I just don't see them adding more compared to what DRG is now which I believe only has 2 positionals now.
