The PSN store is just like any other store they don't decide when stuff goes up (outside their update schedule) the publisher does which would be SE.

If It makes you feel any better People with the Steam Client of the Game are still unable to pre-order. Which leads me to believe that both PSN and Steam will be available for pre-order around the same time.
Maybe all this pre-order mess is Square finalizing things or withholding the client so that the game doesn't get data-mined right away.

Well, the pre-order just grants you access to download the client when it's ready.

Although, you are probably right about the data-mine thingy-ma-jig.

I have tried to pre order the standard digital version from the store here 3 times in the last week. each time it authenticates me, then says "error 5002 can't complete your order", or some such BS.
It also says support is "aware of the problem", but it would be nice if they told us what the problem was!
You would think the easiest way to buy it would be by direct download, but no, there's always some problem for some reason.
I don't want to leave it till the last week, then get login or download problems because the servers are over stretched.
I think we ALL had quite enough of that when the game first launched!

The EBgames you linked is the regular edition not the collectors edition

Edit: While I managed to get the order put in within minutes of it coming up, the link to its page from my order page no longer works and the page for it appears to be removed due to I am assuming the physical collectors edition being completely sold out from them.

Yeah its technically just the standard version with the pre-order bonus noted by the early access, Baron circlet/earring and chocobo courier minion. Just wondering if I should pre-order it now or wait till the digital CE is out on PSN since EBgames says they don't have the CE or just hasn't been released yet.

eb games had limited stock for heavensward CE and was only available online so really only way for most people now to get ps4 heavensward is digital which SE and SONY arent in any rush to make available = = dont be surprised if its not available til a week b4 early access starts
