    That is not to say they have not done it in the past or that they will not do it in future patches, but come on, were in the gaming industry where almost every project gets pushed back at least once.
    Heck, not just the gaming industry either. Delays happen with regular frequency in every industry. Movies, books, television, music, engineering, housing; they all have schedules pushed back from their original due dates. Typically, they are pushed back by months, not just a couple of weeks. Most companies are happy if they are only a week or two behind the initial date, especially when the date was given months before.

    Or it could be like XI you can only summon your chocobo so often until you need a recharge or whatever and rental chocos are for those inbetween times or players who have yet to earn a personal chocobo.

    If they're hell-bent on keeping the classes in the game I'd prefer that they start making some DRASTIC changes to them because they all still play the same except DOM.

    Make this aspect of the game work properly or make the real jobs playable for soloing also.
    I really hope the class changes in the last patch were a really tiny portion of the changes planned.

    thats what all seifs responses are like you should be able to figure that out by now(he does it all the time)

    and hell, thats what MOST people do, they ignore what it says and write what they feel shoulda been.

    the ah is a great example

    we were never promised one, they said they were assessing wether or not we would get one
    but to 99% of the community that means "your getting an ah"

    I wasn't really responding to the letter but to the previous comments asking for the job system to be in the game ASAP.

    If they just throw it all in the game at once then they won't have any time to make any of those features work well. In the long run I think it's smart that they work on the core of the battle system as long as it takes before they start expanding it to new classes/jobs.

    How can you implement job quest without jobs.
    People need to learn to use common sense and not take things so literal.

    Stage by stage implementation of job-specific weapons and armor

    Why would they implement armor if the jobs were no int he game.


    oh, and there was this

    A number of plans made at the beginning of the year will soon be ripe for release. Among these are the shiny new job system (a proper system, mind you, not just renamed classes), an in-game achievement system related to Lodestone character histories, and new modes of transport to address the mobility issue.

    So you decided to completely omit the point where on Job-system related information it says "Design and assessment for cost to implement" only and go with your common sense?

    Ok, I get it, we all wanted jobs to be implemented asap... Its not going to happen sadly. I will be glad when they are implemented, when ever that is.
