removing cleric stance would be a good thing

white mages and scholars in cleric stance is a bad thing.
after the odin wipe a gods damn wipe, on a fate we used to down in 4 minutes while wearing freakking darklight gears, we used the whole timer and never made it to zantetsuken.

there was barely any heals being casted since the healers were busy thinking that they were shadow preists from world of beibercraft!!!!!

those guys i saw today were for the most part geared in 90-130 gears and we freakking ran out of time because the tanks never got any heals BUT i saw an ocean of holy miasma 2 stones and ruin.

Just because some people can not use it, doesn't mean a move should be removed from the game. Your problem is with players ability, not cleric stance.

And odin fate was never done in 4 mins in 2.0 with i70 being the normal gear level.

Also running out of time tends to mean dps is an issue.

dieing on zantetsuken i can understand BUT running out of time without even being close to zantetsuken because healers think that dpsing like morons will get them something and every tanks die..... the worst part being all i saw was holy, ruins stone and barely any heal because cleric stance does give you a boost on your heals

If you had a party with healers, then complain to them... If you were solo, or they were solo, there is no expectation to heal you.... Ever....

LOL take out cleric stance and you'll only have bad healers healing in this game. Not to mention that FATE Odin's attack can "usually" 1 hit a terribad tank. The problem you have is terrible players not Cleric stance.

odin and every other "hard fates that are not rare" : wipe because they wont heal the tank no matther what group hes in because dpsing is more important than keeping the guy whos taking the hits for you alive

if people can do it in 4 "difficult" event why in gods name cant they do the same with something that easy?

1.) Atleast here on Gilgamesh, there are times where the sheer amount of players causes the current person tanking Odin to not actually show up for the healer (just shows a ???).

2.) People do heal, and people do cleric stance. That said fates are less likely to have people doing anything but dpsing, and of course the sheer amount of people may have some healers thinking "Hey, plenty of healers here, I can help with dps period!"

3.) Even if Odin could be taken in 20 minutes in darklight gear, he levels up with each defeat maxing at a cap of level 60. He's just plain stronger now.

Bad healers not understanding that they need to heal their tank doesn't equate to the removal of Cleric Stance. I have no idea how you deduced that Cleric Stance was the reason why your group wiped when you already stated that you saw more Holy, Miasma II and Ruin than heals. That clearly means that the healers are horrible and do not understand they need to heal.

Though I will say that even if they were healing WITH Cleric Stance on, it doesn't justify Square Enix removing the skill. Reason being is because they could just turn it off or you could tell them straight up. If that doesn't work, then you have stubborn healers who don't understand that FFXIV is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game, where you need to care about people in your group and not care that Goofy dies for the umpteenth time.

I don't heal people in other allys, thats THEIR OWN healers problem, not mine. I'll raise if shit gets hairy, but I don't heal them.
