Because we already have enough people who want to pretend to be xDarkLordSephirothx (which is going to get even worse with Dark Knight coming) and the last thing we need is wings added to the mix.

Make them like some sort of jetpack-ish magitek wings you equip just like you would with any other mount and itll be ok.
But please, no actual wings. Especially if you plan to have them displayed even when you're not flying.

In Aion wings are only displayed while flying or thro the /wings emote.

I would also like to pass a no on this one, Airships and such are the iconic way of flying in the FF Franchise not wings.

No please. It looks stupid and too girly for my likes. And it doesn't fit in the FF world. We will have already some really badass mounts which can fly. Plus the game will look like WinX Online or smth. Hell nope.
