A huge disadvantage for new players?

So my main worry is, new players that come once Heavensward is released, and later, they are going to have a lot of trouble.

P.s Yes we played the new player card in our FC aswell, too which they replied, "Can\\'t help you, busy with raiding, crafting, other stuff" over a 3 day period, nobody helped us, so we always had to queue.

First you need to find a better free company. Granted not all FCs are required to cater to new players, but if they were not able to help or anything for a few days thats just wack. (Although a lot of leech players come into FCs beg and whine to be helped and if they dont get a response they want in a timely manner even if everyone is legit busy they rage.)

New players. I 100% do not think it will be hard for them if they learn their class and join a good FC. Gearing a fresh 50 is not hard at all. Just having the patience to do so is(Darklight farm anyone remember CM runs over and over?)

Lol no doubt and because they've ground out their gear it gives them the right to ruin a new players experience or to force them to play at the d.bags imaginary skill level. More often than not pushing others around or showing of in a dungeon results in more time wasted than gained. There are so many haters even Commendations have gone down drastically for quite a few people that are absolute gems to the cummunity.

16 average ilvl jump in 3 days and it's still a disadvantage? How much faster does it need to be for new players? I guess they deserve instant i130 once they hit 50?

Actually, there were quite a few players who did start this game (ARR) at the highest level...

Still, I have an alt sitting at 115 with all MSQs finished. It's really not that difficult to level or gear a fresh character.

Problem is too many people these days have the me me me attitude that stems with the you're not going quick enough attitude which all in all turns makes the game horrible to play with a majority of the community because they're geared and you're not.

In fairness if your fiance is tanking and dps complain its too slow tell them to deal with it or leave, they should go at his pace and his confidence level it's exactly what me and my fiance do when im tanking and he's healing, They don't like it they can do one they're easily replaced possibly by nicer people.

You can try using party finder and specify the type of run you want in the description. I did this a lot early on. I would receive tells on occasion from people telling me to use DF... don't know what their issue was. I generally was able to party up with helpful and friendly people, and learnt a lot from doing it that way.

Well technically the highest ilevel you could achieve when ARR was released was i90.

your best bet is to find a casual guild.

I think at the moment it's fast enough to gear up to at least get the required item level to finish the main story, but once Heavensward comes out, I think they do need to give out i90 gear to new players, for at least their first class anyway, something you get from a new set of quests with some fun story attached to it so older players can have some fun with it too.
